Key Information:

Job Title – Contract Support Officer
Location – Multiple sites across Greater and central London
Rate - £13.85 per hour.
Shifts – 16 shifts per month varied but will include days, nights & weekends.
Hours – Approx avg. 42 hours per week (8-12 hours per day)
Start Times: various as required.

Scope:
Unitrust are looking to recruit reliable Contract Support Officer’s to deliver security
officer duties across multiple sites within London. Unitrust is an exciting security
company, whom have a large footprint of clients across London. Our colleagues are of the
upmost importance to Unitrust, and we continue to grow our client base. We hold strong
relationships with our colleagues and clients, ensuring the best service delivery.

The candidate we are looking for will enjoy working at different locations with
different teams and occasionally single person sites. You must enjoy working on your own
initiative and have a keen interest in securing our client sites. The successful Contract
Support Officer’s will be respectful, tactful and provide excellent customer service skills.
The pay rate will depend on the site you work at, we are a member of the Living Wage
Foundation

Service Provider with 99% of our clients paying the LLW or above. You must hold a
Security Guarding or Door Supervisor SIA License to work within our business.
The role would suit someone who is looking for flexibility and enjoys working in varied
role. A day to day in the life as Contract Support Officer, would involve access control,
customer service, fire evacuations, meeting and greeting, standing, patrolling and health
& safety.

Essential Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a confident and
• personable manner.
•  Exceptional customer service abilities, with a strong focus on providing outstanding
• experiences.
•  Reliability, trustworthiness, and punctuality in all responsibilities.
•  Ability to remain calm under pressure, multitask, and prioritise effectively.
•  Physically able to perform all duties associated with the role.
•  Computer confident, proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
•  Possess a valid SIA license.
•  First Aid at Work qualification.

Desirable Skills:

•  Previous security experience (desired but not essential).
•  Exposure to relevant Protective Security or Counter Terrorism Advice.
•  Prior experience in the security industry and/or within the hospitality or corporate
• sectors.
•  Familiarity with technologies used to detect security threats.
•  Enhanced communication, listening, and customer service skills or the ability to develop further in this field.
