Shift Pattern: Predominantly Monday – Friday, but a minimum of one weekend day per month
required (50 hours per week),
Pay Rate: £56,000 per annum

Job objectives and responsibilities
•Managing site security team, ensuring that all contracted and temporary hours are fulfilled to the
complete satisfaction of the client. The retention of the contract and security team is key to the
business and through total quality management must be a primary objective of the site lead.
• Reporting to the Contracts Manager and onsite client(s) but not limited to due to nature of the client
and it’s operations.
• To deliver best in class service across the contract asset, working alongside both client and company.
Main duties
- Manage the security (and other owned service) teams to ensure that the operational delivery of the service is maintained to the highest agreed standard and to the complete satisfaction of the client.
- Scheduling and rostering of officers that fall within your remit as either site based or dedicated relief.
- Daily reconciliation of delivered hours to the customer.
- Ensure all holiday requests fall within and meet Unitrust processes and procedures.
- Uniform ordering and maintenance of good standards of dress/deportment and appropriate PPE.
- Manage security and emergency incidents. Reporting in line with customer and Unitrust process.
- Attend and contribute to the monthly meeting with client and internal/external emergency services to review site emergency procedures.
- Attend monthly meetings with the client and other site contractors to review safety performance and share best practice.
- Deliver monthly MMI (Monthly Management Information reports) & SLA presentations to the client (tenants if applicable) monitoring both operational and commercial performance.
- Ensure the correct and appropriate operation of security systems and procedures.
- Implementing customer corporate policies and codes of practice as directed by the customer lead or Unitrust managment.
- Constantly assessing risk/threat and taking appropriate measures to mitigate any potential eventuality.
- Regularly inspect all administrative, health and safety and quality procedures and endorse them.
- Take detailed notes of all disciplinary/capability actions taken against employees making sure that all such matters are first referred to both the contracts manager and P&C.
- Ensure all contractual commitments are honoured and if there is any failure be the first to advise the contract manager and customer. Any complaints must be logged in accordance with the quality system and remedied in a timely and effective manner.

- In conjunction with the support team, monitor the security officer’s performance, conduct annualn appraisals in line with company policy and encourage their personal development.
- Make sure that all security officers are aware of the latest training initiatives and are given the opportunity for both personal development and to improve their skill base.
- Ensuring team is constantly trained to meet leading industry and site or contract practices.
- Maintain accurate and up to date assignment instructions and review annually, on all sites that you are responsible for against which all security officers should be assessed, to ensure their understanding and compliance. All instructions must be signed as having been read and understood by the officers.
- Regularly inspect all administrative quality procedures and endorse them paying particular attention to check call procedures.
- Monitor and manage the progress of absenteeism, work performance and discipline.
- Develop & manage security related projects and initiatives in collaboration with key customer management.
- Provide information on activity on site relevant to the team’s performance, on-going issues and future development opportunities.
- Set and maintain the highest personal and professional standards as an employee of Unitrust and adopt a total quality approach to every aspect of your work, colleagues and clients.
- Conduct monthly OOH site visits and welfare checks.
- IOSH trained/certified or willing to complete course.
